Stanislaus Complex Fire 1987
September 8, 1987 Yosemite National Park, California – Stanislaus Complex Fire -- On Smith Station Road, Mr. Williams' house was a total loss. The Stanislaus Complex Fire consumed 28 structures and 145,980 acres. One US Forest Service firefighter, David Ross Erickson, died from a tree-felling accident.
