September 4, 1987 Greeley Hill, California -- Stanislaus Complex Fire -- Retired Greeley Hill Fire Chief Jim Kendrick talks to rancher Leonard Duetsch while waiting for the all-clear to go back to his house. The Stanislaus Complex Fire consumed 28 structures and 145,980 acres. One US Forest Service firefighter, David Ross Erickson, died from a tree-felling accident.
