Moccasin Fire
August 3, 1992 Big Oak Flat, California -- Moccasin Fire – Conservation Camp firefighters hike to work. The fire spread quickly from near Moccasin Reservoir up the New Priest Grade on Highway 120 to the community of Big Oak Flat. The Moccasin Fire consumed nearly 5,000 acres.
