Stanislaus Complex Fire 1987
September 8, 1987 Yosemite National Park, California -- Stanislaus Complex Fire -- Volunteers at Buck Meadows General Store put together lunches for firefighters. The Stanislaus Complex Fire consumed 28 structures and 145,980 acres. One US Forest Service firefighter, David Ross Erickson, died from a tree-felling accident.
