September 4, 1987 Greeley Hill, California --Stanislaus Complex Fire -- Mariposa County Sheriffs Department Sergeant Norm Ross coordinates community operations during fire in Greeley Hill. The Stanislaus Complex Fire consumed 28 structures and 145,980 acres. One US Forest Service firefighter, David Ross Erickson, died from a tree-felling accident.
